My thoughts about Rod Reynolds’s brilliant gripping hard-hiting police procedural murder mystery thriller, Black Reed Bay, was brilliant with its breathtaking suspense and mystery that has some fascinating characters and a brilliant lead female detective, that is truly remarkable,wow what a fantastic ride it was. Rod Reynolds’s Black Reed Bay is a ride to remember. Author Rod Reynolds has nailed it with this one with his outstanding writing style that blows you away. About Author Rod Reynolds

Rod Reynolds is the author of five novels, including the Charlie Yates series, the standalone Blood Red City and the forthcoming Black Reed Bay. His 2015 debut, The Dark Inside, was longlisted for the CWA New Blood Dagger, and was followed by Black Night Falling (2016) and Cold Desert Sky (2018); the Guardian have called the books ‘Pitch-perfect American noir.’ A lifelong Londoner, in 2020 Orenda Books published his first novel set in his hometown, Blood Red City, which was a Summer 2020 pick in the FT. In 2021, he again turns to the US, this time to present-day Long Island, with Black Reed Bay.
